Oh, where do we begin. When you have been buying any kind of gadgets for the past eight years, you tend to get some crappy experiences before you get to those that actually are memorable in a happy light. And even then, there is no guarantee that they even count as good ones. There are far too many annoying customer services that put a stick in your jimmies. So these are our Digital Retail Consumer Experiences.
Have you ever just have that urge to choke that person who lied to you about the product he just sold you? Do not worry so much, we all have that urge. It might not because of the thing he sold you but more on how he treated you. There is customer service and then there is flirting. That has got to be some kind of violation of conduct, right?
And despite their fights, her parents are proud of her. Winning interstate competitions yearly? Acing all the exams and becoming the best in her school? Performing some stellar stunts after the training she got and then providing some insight in the meetings she attended? Of course they were damn proud.
Especially back then. We bought one that costed cheap, like around seven dollars or so. Give or take. That might not be as big as you are probably used to, but keep in mind that we are poor and to us, that was essentially three hundred pesos. Basically a school allowance worth six days for a high school student.
Is it okay to bring a child to all these meetings? No, but do the Braginskies care? Absolutely not. Nikita had a morbid version of fun listening to all the old men be underhanded and sarcastic in the meetings as they talked about other countries. It was not a surprise that Dimitri was also as sarcastic as them.
Nikita did not look impressed. Her mother simply quirked an elegant eyebrow at her. While she had expected the less than enthusiastic response from her child, her reaction still was not what she wanted from her. You should thankful, she reprimanded her. Your grandfather sent me to Cuba when I was ten with no training under my belt.
That bastard. What a waste of money. We got so mad that we stopped bothering going back for another replacement. Like hell were we going to see his ugly mug again. But it was our loss, though. The speaker we bought was so hard to charge and the way it produced sound? It sounded like it swallowed a goddamn frog.
We are sending you to go live with Grandpa while you are there in Japan. Dimitri finished. Nika clicked her tongue distastefully while her daughter blinked slowly. Who? She murmured. Since she was not met anyone in her family while living in Russia, she has no clue who exactly her grandpa is. All she knows is that he used to be a mafia boss.
My father, her mother muttered with a frown. You will train and live under his roof for as long as he deems it fit. Do not disappoint him. He will be far stricter than I was to you, child. Which makes sense to the kid since Nika was a heartless woman.
