The method makes it possible for you to target specific people or markets. That is because you can plan the exact route that the vehicles used will take. Therefore, you will reach specific areas based on some factors. Some of the factors considered are target neighborhoods, high-traffic areas and specific socioeconomic areas. In addition to that, you will be able to reach target businesses. In case there are events, conferences or conventions, you can also target those areas. When static billboards are used, you cannot have enough control of the audience to target.

Moving billboards will ensure you know exactly where your advert is reaching. That is because you are able to track the vehicle with GPS. Whereas you can set specific routes on private trucks or cars, that is not possible with all vehicles. If you have ads on a bus or cab with variable routes, you will not be able to know where the ad is being seen. With GPS however, you will be able to easily track the route and know where the vehicle has been all day.

It is an option that is cost-effective. There are different advertisement modes that are costly. Such methods may not be very feasible and more so for small businesses that are operating on a budget. You need to be able to track ROI when you invest in advertisements. Setting up a mobile billboard is not costly. It is cheaper than such methods as radio commercials and printed commercials.

Such billboards cannot be clicked or turned away by consumers. There are a number of advertisement modes that you can easily avoid. Such include TV commercials which you can mute and online ads that you can click away. That is not so for moving billboards.

The billboards are almost unavoidable. It is not easy for a consumer to navigate himself or herself from the ads. People will be constantly seeing the ads.
